You're trying to fill the NEET UG form and the photo keeps getting rejected. The error message is vague, the deadline is close, and panic is setting in. Relax — this is almost always a technical issue with dimensions, file size, or format. Here's how to fix it.

Fix #1: Wrong Dimensions
NEET requires exactly 200×200 pixels (square). If your photo is rectangular (like a standard passport photo), it will be rejected. Use the free Resize tool at photosure.app/tools/resize-photo — select the 'NEET (200×200px)' preset.
Fix #2: File Size Too Large
If your photo is over 200 KB, use the Compress tool at photosure.app/tools/compress-image. Set target to 150 KB (leaving buffer below the 200 KB limit). For most 200×200 photos, this takes 2 seconds.
Fix #3: File Size Too Small
If your photo is under 10 KB (common after aggressive compression), use the KB Increaser at photosure.app/tools/increase-image-size. Set target to 15 KB to safely clear the minimum.
Fix #4: Wrong Format
NEET only accepts JPEG (.jpg). If your file is PNG or WebP, any of our tools will convert it to JPEG automatically during processing. Just upload it and download the result — it'll be JPEG.
Fix #5: Photo Content Issues
- Background not white → Use AI Photo Maker (₹29) for clean white background
- Photo too old → Must be taken after 1st June of the application year

Save 3 versions of your photo: original, resized (200×200), and final compressed (under 200KB). If the form rejects one version, you can quickly re-adjust from the resized version without starting over.
